Examination - Local Development Plan

The deposit plan needs to be independently assessed to see whether it is sound.

After consulting on the deposit plan, the Council will submit it along with the sustainability report and the consultation statement to the Planning Inspector who will assess the plan on the basis of soundness. The tests of soundness can be viewed below.

At this stage, those who made representations on the deposit plan will be given the opportunity to provide their views either in writing or in person to the Inspector at the examination.

Information about the examination of the LDP will be uploaded to this webpage when it becomes available.
